Tears in Heaven (淚灑天堂) 是吉他之神Eric Clapton (艾瑞克.萊普頓)悼念愛子的作品。他在年近五十歲的時候，才有一個兒子，但他兒子四歲大時，竟然從紐約五十三層樓高的公寓住家，意外摔下身亡。
喪子的Eric幾近崩潰，一段時間甚至以毒品逃避心中的哀慟。後來，他為愛子寫下這首至情至性的 Tears in Heaven，並重新振作，回到創作舞台。
Would you know my name if I saw you in heaven……傷慟的他曾經想要跟著兒子去天堂，但是，最終他告訴自己要堅強 “I'll find my way through night and day，Cause I know I just can't stay here in heaven”。
他終究可以走過這一段喪子之慟，因為他相信，天堂將不再有眼淚。

Wow, you have such a nice boss that dedicated this song especially for you. I was so proud of you. This song remained me when I was at my school time, bcos of this song, I brought this cassette, and from there onwards, I like Eric Clipton very much. Yes, the lyrics was so meaningful and very encouraging. Thanks for posting this song sis... Gambateh!

Hey one of my old favourite. I sort of know more about Eric Clapton from this songs too.
my fav too. i came to know this song from how wang. at that time he is so much into guitar.it seems he composed this song after the death of his son.
I think we should start doing some songs dedication alrealy...
ha ha just joking lah...
